Yes there are a lot of webpages out there showcasing CSS/XHTML crafted webpages and websites, but not all of them are necessarily powered by a content-management-system. CMSshowcase is actually paying attention to the CMS as well. The gallery is sorted by CMS and it might give you an idea what is possible with a CMS and what is not. Kostenlose Icons für Web- und Applikationsdesign

Eben habe ich famfamfam.com’s Silk Icons entdeckt. Dieser Iconsatz hat eine große Anzahl (derzeit über 700) an PNG-Dateien in sich und ist sicherlich einen Blick wert bevor man sich Stunden um Stunden um die Ohren schlägt, um das Rad neu zu erfinden.

Lizenz-frei Schriften

Vitaly Friedman stellt in seinem Blog die seiner Meinung nach 15 besten Pixel
-Schriften vor. In einem früheren Posting wurden bereits 25 hochqualitative lizenzfreie Schriften vorgestellt. Ein Blick auf die Auswahl und die angegebenen Referenzlinks ist sehr ergiebig. Vorsicht jedoch, denn nicht alle Schriften sind für den kommerziellen Gebrauch „kostenlos“.
